Introduction



The Agricultural Chemical Society of Taiwan, originally established as The Chinese Agricultural Chemical Society on May 1, 1963, adopted its current name in June 2003. It is one of Taiwan’s earliest nonprofit academic associations registered with the Ministry of the Interior.

The Society’s academic scope encompasses microbiology, food science, biochemistry and nutrition, soil science and environmental studies, and plant nutrition. Its mission is to connect professionals in Taiwan and abroad to advance agricultural chemistry in Taiwan and promote academic research. The Society currently has 531 members, including 341 lifetime members, 182 regular members, and 8 institutional members.

The Society’s objectives are to:

  1. Promote research in agricultural chemistry.
  2. Organize lectures and discussions on agricultural chemistry.
  3. Collect publications on agricultural chemistry from Taiwan and abroad for reference by the academic community and industry.
  4. Publish scholarly journals.
  5. Undertake other activities related to agricultural chemistry.
